The Big Island Challenge

This is a virtual run around the the Big Island, an 8-week event wherein contestants compete independently to log 220 running miles — the same distance as our virtual coastal course around the Big Island!

For those wishing to take on a smaller challenge, consider competing in our other 8-week virtual runs:

• our 110-mile Hilo-to-Kona virtual run,
• our 10K virtual run, or
• our 5K virtual run!

The following applies for all Big Island Challenge virtual events:

• All finishers will get a Big Island Challenge t-shirt and finisher’s medal.
• Registration will start on June 7^th and end on August 2^nd.
• Virtual events will start on August 2^nd and run through September 27^th.
• T-shirts and medals will be mailed out after September 27^th.
• Entry fee for the 220 mile run is $50.00.
• Entry fee for the 110 mile run is $40.00.
• Entry fee for the 10K run is $35.00.
• Entry fee for the 5K run is $30.00.
• Additional processing fees are applied for online registration and for registrants outside the United States of America. See registration page for complete details.
